The print release of Tropic Issue 2 corresponded with a gallery exhibition at Aupuni Space. This exhibition incorporated and expanded upon the editorial content of Issue 2, with a curatorial focus on experiential and performative works by Hawaiʻi-based artists. This included an immersive audio soundtrack, TheNightBus, by e-nico, anon, and frntbznzz, an ongoing merch shop with shirt collaborations by Myka Arnado, Jourdan Simmonds, a commissioned video work from e-nico, and “get ready with gentofish,” an ongoing participatory vanity table.
